Main Project Information
1. Project Description, Objectives, and Priorities
The PADIA project was born out of an urgent need in the world of SMEs: the democratization of data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI). For many of these businesses, access to such technologies has been limited by scarce resources and the complexity of existing solutions. The project's overarching goal is to develop an automated data analytics platform that removes these barriers, enabling SMEs to fully leverage the potential of AI and data analysis.
The end result is envisioned as a digital service that will allow SMEs to analyze data from various sources, generate reports, visualizations, and metrics, and apply predictive models—all through an interface that requires no advanced technical skills.
Main Objective:
To develop an open and innovative platform that democratizes data analytics and AI usage, eliminating the need for prior knowledge or programming skills. The platform aims to provide a simplified and accessible interface, enabling individuals from all areas and experience levels within SMEs to effectively harness the power of data analytics and AI.
Specific Objectives:
- Advanced backend and data architecture development: Build a robust, efficient infrastructure to support AI and data analytics operations, including scalable servers, optimized databases for fast and secure processing of large volumes of data, cloud storage solutions, and big data technologies.
- Enhancement of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and AI models: Improve algorithm accuracy and system functionality. Optimize NLP algorithms to better understand user language variations and queries, as well as AI models to increase efficiency in generating data visualizations and predictions.
- Integration with business systems and external APIs: Develop a suite of APIs and integration tools for seamless, secure connections with ERP, CRM, and other corporate platforms, ensuring compatibility and efficient data transfer.
- User experience optimization and personalization: Create an intuitive interface tailored to each user’s needs and preferences. Apply UI/UX design principles, customization options, and advanced configurations to improve interaction and accessibility.
- Advanced security and regulatory compliance: Implement cutting-edge encryption technologies, multi-factor authentication, and security protocols to ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR and other applicable legal requirements.
- Rigorous testing program: Conduct unit, integration, functional, performance, stress, and security tests, using both automated and manual methods to guarantee system quality, scalability, and reliability.
2. Geographic or Thematic Scope of the Project
This project is a bold step toward accessible and sustainable AI, with the potential to transform how SMEs operate and make decisions in an increasingly data- and AI-driven world.
3. Total EU Funding, Budget, or Total Project Investment
The total PADIA project budget approved by the CDTI amounts to €465,867. Of this, €263,650 is allocated to EVM Group S.L. and €202,217 to Macrotest Informática S.L. This funding is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF 2021–2027).
4. Project Duration or Execution Period
The project runs for one year, from January 1, 2024 to January 1, 2025.
